Welcome to Shopee Analytics Pro (“the Extension”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how the Extension handles data.

1. Information Collection and Use

Local Processing: All data aggregation, statistics, and analysis of your Shopee purchases are processed strictly locally inside your web browser.
No Server Uploads: The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, Shopee credentials, session cookies, or transaction history to external servers. Your data stays yours.
Local Storage: Calculated statistics are stored securely on your local device using Chrome’s local storage API (chrome.storage.local) only to enable fast loading next time. You can clear this cache at any time inside the Extension popup.
On-Device AI Classification: Category classification utilizing Gemini Nano (Chrome Prompt API) is performed entirely on-device. No product titles, prices, or metadata are sent to Google or any other cloud services.

2. Permissions Required

The Extension requests the following permissions for its core functionality:

activeTab & scripting: Used to run the analysis scripts on the active Shopee tab when you explicitly click the “Bắt đầu thống kê” button. This runs a main-world bridge proxy to perform safe, same-origin API fetches natively inside your browser session and an isolated-world script to aggregate data.
storage: Used to store your calculated shopping statistics locally on your device.

3. Data Security

Since no data is ever transmitted off your machine, your data is as secure as your personal computer. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system updated to ensure local security.

4. Chrome Web Store Policy Compliance

Single Purpose: The Extension has a single purpose: helping users track and analyze their personal shopping statistics on Shopee.
User Data: The Extension does not sell, trade, or rent user personal identification or browsing data to others.
Ad-free: The Extension does not inject ads or use your data for marketing purposes.
