The Dabeeo QR extension operates entirely locally on your device. It does not communicate with any external servers, nor does it track your activity across the web.
To function as intended, Dabeeo QR requires the following Chrome permissions:
activeTab: This permission allows the extension to temporarily access the URL of the currently active tab only when you explicitly click the extension icon. This is necessary to automatically generate a QR code for the page you are currently viewing. The URL data is processed locally on your machine and is never sent over the internet or stored permanently.clipboardWrite: This permission allows the extension to copy the generated QR code or its URL to your system's clipboard when you click the corresponding "Copy" button. We only write to your clipboard based on your explicit actions and we never read from your clipboard.All QR code generation happens offline, directly within your browser, using local JavaScript libraries. No data is sent to the cloud for processing or storage.
Dabeeo QR does not use Google Analytics, cookies, or any other tracking mechanisms.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes to how we handle the limited permissions we require, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
